Join us for a relaxing 2 hour Yin Yoga Workshop at the peaceful Kernow Yogalates studio near Lanhydrock. A chance to carve-out some time for self-care and restoration.

In Yin yoga, you hold postures for a longer period time, often 3 to 5 minutes and sometimes longer. Meeting the intensity of a stretch helps you to foster a deep, pervading sense of calm. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced student, this is a practice open to all levels.

Yin yoga is a stilling practice that cultivates a deep sense of awareness through the release of mind and body stresses. An antidote to the busy modern life, Yin focuses on releasing the connective tissue of the body including tendons, ligaments and specifically, deep fascia which is the location of inflammation, if you experience this in the body. By holding poses for longer periods as oposed to dynamic classes, there is an opportunity for the body to relax into the pose and experience some wonderful feelings of release in the body.

Bonnie is a registered BWY teacher and has been practicing and teaching Yoga since 2007. Bonnie has completed several teacher trainings and is currently studying Reflexology Diploma level 3.
