Sunday 5th January 2020 – 10am – 4pm
More retreat than workshop, this whole day of yoga will follow the elements of a weekend retreat and balance gentle flowing sequences with quiet introspective yin and restorative poses, as well as offer plenty of time for classical pranayama (breath work) and meditation, with a delicious hour long Sound Bath. Come and immerse yourself in the healing sounds of the Gong. Let the vibrations clear and balance your body, mind and emotions.

Life is wonderful, but also hectic and stressful, often leaving us feeling depleted and ungrounded. Our practice is our sanctuary from the responsibilities and deadlines piled upon us and gives us the space to reboot energetically, emotionally and creatively. This unhurried day of yoga for all levels is ideal for you if:

  • Would like to start your New Year with a positive start.
  • You have been craving a weekend retreat recently
  • You feel the urge to go deeper into your practice than your regular classes/shorter workshops
  • You have been feeling a little stagnant yoga-wise recently!

Your Teachers;
Bonnie was first trained in the practice of Hatha Yoga with awareness of chakras and the energy system of the human body. This deep and esoterical practice has influenced the heart placed classes she now teaches. She trained with Agama Yoga 500hrs, in 2007 and was accredited by Yoga Alliance and International Yoga Federation. Later she took the 2 year (RYS 69 days) Teacher Training Course with Mandala Yoga Ashram which is a British Wheel of Yoga accredited course and she is currently studying her fourth Teacher Training with Lucinda and Jock at Lime House Yoga in North Cornwall. Bonnie’s classes are light and are full of enthusiasm with uplifting philosophy, non-competitiveness and humour. Classes are based on the mindful approach of awareness, with breath, body alignment and sometimes, chakra/energy awareness.

Sue – “I started my career as a Radiographer treating people with cancer. Despite getting to a senior level I very soon realised that my interest was really in preventing disease. I trained as an Acupuncturist in 1991 and built up a busy London practice. During this period I found that I was tuning in to my clients during the treatment and allowed the session to be driven by intuition as well as learnt knowledge. This led me to discover Reiki and I trained to Master level with Richard Ellis who has gone on to write three definitive books on this healing modality.
I have continued to expand my knowledge of healing and now include the use of sound to clear and harmonize the body, mind and emotions. I still maintain a London practice and also work from Wadebridge Osteopaths.“
