Join us for a relaxing 2 hour Yin Yoga Workshop at the peaceful and cozy Pelynt Village Hall. A chance to carve-out some time for self-care and restoration.

The workshop will be focusing on a grounding practice using Muladhara, Root Chakra awareness. Passive practices for the physical and energetic body to rejuvenate the health of the organs to optimal balance.

In Yin yoga, you hold postures for a longer period time, often 3 to 5 minutes and sometimes longer. Meeting the intensity of a stretch helps you to foster a deep, pervading sense of calm. Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced student, this is a practice open to all levels.

Yin yoga is a stilling practice that cultivates a deep sense of awareness through the release of mind and body stresses. An antidote to the busy modern life, Yin focuses on releasing the connective tissue of the body (tendons, ligaments and fascia). Poses are held for long periods, allowing the student to relax as they express patience and quiet.

This workshop will be focusing on the Muladhara Root Chakra. Offerings will be made to connect with this chakra using:
* Breathing Pranayamic techniques
* Visualisations
* Mula Bandha
* Guided Meditation
* Yoga Nidra

Bonnie is a registered BWY teacher and has been practicing and teaching Yoga since 2007. Bonnie has completed several teacher trainings.
